omega hard drive makes noice but doesn not show up on disk manager or my computer

It sounds like it's searching for data when I plug it in, it can go on for 1/2 hr, but my computer can not read it at all
I opened it, one video said it might have slid back and become disconected if the inside tape broke, my tape seems fine.

It's and Omega 1 hard drive. When I physically open up the drive, there is like a masking tape inside the drive that sometimes breaks, so I checked and it's fine. closed up the drive again, but nothing changed. Just noice when it's plugged in
