just a quick one, what are the benefits of running twin sli? i currently have gtx 770 which runs everygame ive tested so far on maximum setting and on 60fps
bf4 actually clocked in at over 90fps!

intel core i5 4440
gtx 770 twin frozr 2gb
8 gig 1600 ddr3 ram

Solution
The whole premise of sli is to double the performance of the cards. That's not the case 90% of the time, but it does give a considerable boost. For example, you could get an extra 40 (or more/less) fps in games such as bf4.
You will need at least a 750w (preferably gold standard/850w pay) to sli.

At 1080p you're not really going to notice a difference at all. If you play at higher resolutions, it'll be a lot more power overall. But remember that Video RAM doesn't stack with SLI/Crossfire, so you're still hampered by the 2GB. If I were going to dual cards, I'd want at least 3-4GB VRAM for the coming years

Are you asking what re the benefits of running 770 in SLI if you are getting 60+ frames with a single 770? If those are the only games you plan on playing for a while then it isn't necessary to run two in SLI. However, if you plan to keep up with the latest games, even the 770 will start to show mercy and will require more power.

I have a 760 - great card. However, I see myself getting another one to play Star Citizen as that game pushes the 760 (and 770) to the max.

Just be sure your power supply can handle two 770s. I think the minimum requirement is either 700 or 750. I can't research that at the moment.

Dual 770's would be about 750W minimum, which with a good PSU would be all you need. Safer to go 800W or 850W though of course
