So this will be my third tower I have built, First two have been simple air cooled single GPU gaming towers, and for my next build I would like to go all out. (water-cooling loop, PSU sleeving, Custom LED work)

I already have the monitors I would like to use as well as my peripherals. I'm hoping to run things like Skyrim, WoW, Diablo 3, and SC2 on ultra settings in surround at 5760x1080 Though if my $1500 budget will only let me do high i'm more than comfortable with that as well. My budget does have some wiggle room but I would like to save that for shipping as I most likely will not get all the parts in the same place.

EDIT: Updated CPU thanks again to bradsctt

Yeah, nothing like picking all of the parts yourself :)

Sometimes people don't realize that they picked a locked CPU, dont feel bad.

My only other concern would be the VRAM usage on the 2GB cards at that resolution.
Yes, the SLI 760s will run that resolution, but they will probably hit the VRAM cap.

^Its 5760x1080, not 1920x1080.

My last 2 builds were DIY combos off newegg and for as much as I loved them I thought it was time to try my own. I didn't realize that I had picked a locked CPU, Thank you for pointing that out.

Those aren't graphically intense games (unless you plan to install a load of skyrim mods), a gtx 760 sli config should be able to play those games at 1080p ultra no sweat

Hey friend, congrats on the new build...great system.

I did want to point out that certain titles listed will not play in surround mode: Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2. (and im not sure about WoW)

Ive always been a fan of a single high res display for that reason alone. Have you looked into a 2560x1440 monitor? You can find great deals on them nowadays.

I dont mod Skyrim too heavily but it was a curious thought that I could do. And I would have decided on the GTX 760 4g if it was within my budget but maybe that can be upgraded down the line when they come down in price a little bit. And Ive already got the monitors handy so it was an easy choice to try though if it doesnt go as planned a single larger center monitor may be in the future.

I have had some bad luck in the past with Asus (RMA on 2 gpus and a mobo for DOA) But ill look into it. I decided on the SLI 760 for the fact that its within my budget will get the performance im aiming for even if some things need to be played on high, and It still adds the option of future SLI upgrades like the 780 SC when they come down in price. Probably when the 800 series releases.
