So I recently ordered the MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45 that I plan on using with the Intel i7-4790K. However, while reading reviews for a similar Asus motherboard, I came across this review, and now I'm worried about having the same problem.
The only difference is that I'm using the Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR3 2400MHz PC3 instead of the 1600 MHz variety.
So, should I be worried about my compatibility? Will my different motherboard and memory save me from the problem this reviewer describes? Has anyone tried the exact setup I'm attempting?
