This is a good option, This can max out any game on 1080p, and you can upgrade to an 8350 and crossfire the r9 280x.

Okay YES.. This build did go over $~30 but I had to in order to make this a great upgrade path. I went with the Z97 for 2 reasons. 1. Z series boards are needed for SLI, and 2. Z97 boards will support broadwell CPUs. This means that if you want to overclock in the future you can do this buy buying a 5th generation k series CPU from intel. And like always with an ATX motherboard you can get 16GB of RAM if you want by getting identical RAM to the RAM you already own. The SLI journey begins with the 760s for Nvidia so that's what I went with. If you SLI two 760s you should get about the performance of a 780 Ti which is amazing. But in an ideal situation you would want two 4GB cards for this but the budget wont be able to fit that :( And last but not least the PSU. HCG PSUs from Antec are great. This one allows SLI which is why I went with it. And it's made by Antec so thats a bonus too :) Feel free to ask any questions which I am sure you will have :D

sorry master dell i did not see your build there before i picked the solution and actually the $30 dollar difference is not a problem because the micro center near me is selling the i5 4590 for $30 less and it evens out. thank you!

how much would i benefit for going with the 4 GB 760? sorry i'm a noob at this since its my first build. if its worth it to have a better upgrade path, ill get the 4 GB model. i really am just depending on your opinion on this one because it would even out to near 727 dollars again but would it be worth it to get it?

Buy the CPU and the motherboard from Micro Center. When you bundle them together, you usually get a really great deal. I got an FX-8350 and a good motherboard for under $300!

If you plan on getting a second GTX 760 in the future for SLI, get the 4GB version (two 2GB cards does not give you 4GB). Otherwise, stick with the 2GB, unless you really want 4GB. ;)
