How do I know what good internet is for Minecraft?

I am going to start minecraft YouTubing soon (I have to get a computer that is Gucci first) and I need to know what good internet is. I would like to do some streaming. I play LOTS of PVP games and mostly on Mineplex. My ping has ALWAYS been good on there (Below 50) but lately it has been SKY ROCKETING! Like above 400! I cant do crap on Mineplex. Please let me know what a good internet setup will be fore me.

Check with your ISP as to whether they've been having problems or whether you've reached your monthly limit.
Make sure you have a good high speed and good allowance internet plan. And that the local exchange isn't slowing you down (as in my case).
Also check whether other devices have been sharing the internet with you - family or outside if your router is not password protected. Our TVs are now bandwidth hogs - doing software updates.
Check your router is high speed. N15 is dead. N300 is old. N600 and 900 are the go now. Or if you can afford it, an AC1750 router - with dual band wifi.
Then make sure you've either got ethernet cable from your pc to the router or good wifi connection - again dual band if you can.
