Hello I have HP PROBOOK 6550B with 2 gb ram and Windows 7 (64 bit).

I tried to upgrade 4gb memory on slot one (under the keyboard) and the laptop flashes CapsLock + NumLock and won´t start.

The memory is:

Hynix 4 gb 2R x 8 PC3-10600 S-9-10-F2 (based on 256mb modules with 8 chip)

HMT351S6BFR8C-H9 N0 AA 1149

The only way to start the laptop is

Slot 1 sodimm 2 gb

Slot 2 sodimm 4 gb

Why the sodimm with 4gb don´t work in the slot 1.

Thank you for your help

Best Regards
