Hello everyone! I am trying to fix a laptop the last 3 days. Whatever i tried just didn't work. And nothing in the web suits my case nor helped. Sorry if there is a relative post but i didn't find anything. So, here how it is. There is only one user profile in this laptop. After booting fine it showed the welcome screen and then the desktop (no password). Now, after the welcome screen a black screen with a moving cursor appears (sometimes i was prompted the user selection screen, sometimes not). I tried memory diagnostics tool but it didn't find anything. I burnt the windows 7 iso i downloaded from microsoft in a dvd. I tried startup repair and again it didn't find anything. I can access safe modes. So, i tried sfc/scannow in cmd but in the second stage, the stage of verification, in the 60% it stopped. After several rebootings in safe mode with networking it shows explorer.exe stopped working.... if i press ok and let it there doing nothing, after a while it show a blue screen, probably the BSoD. Then it reboots. In the user selection it shows under the username Logged In. So, i can access the user profile but i just get a black screen with moving cursor. Is there any way to tackle this without clean install (without losing files)? Thanks in advance!
