I have a computer running Windows 7. I ran it fine for years until a few months ago. It started randomly hanging. If I let it sit for a while it will eventually resume responding. While frozen, the mouse is still movable. It doesn't freeze at all in safe mode. I was just slightly annoyed at this issue until today when it started effective my League of Legends games. Not cool. Any help would be appreciated. I can provide more info if necessary. Thanks.

Often this will happen to windows over time. If you havent yet do theses: defrag, run disk cleaner, run virus scan, uninstall unneeded programs. Give the hdd/sdd more storage. Also you'd be amazed at what a can of compressed air can do for you. Clean your pc out. If none of these work, I would suggest reinstalling windows. If problem instues, it's a hardware problem.
