Hi guys, my parents currently have a pc they bought a couple years ago and I was wondering if it would be good enough for gaming (games like team fortress 2 and possibly call of duty at medium or high settings) once i buy a good graphics card for it. Here's the specs:
CPU: AMD FX(tm) 4100 Quad Core ¬3.6 GHz
Hard Drive: Western Digital 2 TB SATA
Mobo: Asrock N68-VS3 FX
RAM: Kingmax DDR3 1333 4gb Longrim x 2 (So thats 8gb RAM)
GPU: None, has integrated graphics
PSU: WideTech 550 watt power supply (came with the case)
Case: WideTech WT5285B w/ 550w psu
Monitor: 1440 x 900 resolution, 16:10 Aspect ratio (Benq Senseye+photo E900WA)

So ultimately my question is: is the Sapphire Radeon R7 265 good enough for the pc, or would it require something more powerful? Is it even compatible with my build? What frame rates should I expect?

Also, what upgrades should I consider for video editting (for my parents).

The R7 265 is a good choice for that build. If you don't want to stress the GPU(I am not sure about that brand) you could go for a GTX 750 ti as well which doesn't perform quite as well but takes less power.

Thanks heaps for the quick response! I've considered the GTX 750 ti, and just wondering with my build would it be able to handle COD and tf2 on high or medium? Thanks

Yeah at 1080p either of those cards should handle medium to high at 1080p, probably high-ish
