Hello, I wanted to know if an Orion Model No: HP585D will run a R9 280 or R9 270x. It says it's 585 watts and has the following sticker specs.
3.3V - 36A
+5V - 36A
+12V1 - 19A
+12V2 - 20A
-12V - 1A
+5Vsb - 2A
It has 8GB DDR2 Ram, with a Phenom II X6 1045T Processor.
I hear an R9 280 takes about 25A on the 12V rail so I don't know if I am able to add the two 12V rails for 39A or not.
I fully understand this PSU should be replaced with something better, but these are the facts for now.
Thanks for your time.
