Was having Artifacts now found a faulty RAM stick.. should I put GPU back in with just 1 RAM stick before I RMA it tomorrow?

Well I just found out one of my RAM sticks is bad through memtest86+. I had been getting artifacts while using my new computer before I took out my GPU as well.
Should I still RMA the GPU and the RAM..or should I put my GPU back in with 1 stick of RAM and see if I still have artifacts?
I just took out my GPU yesterday and was planing on sending it out for RMA tomorrow... but now I can send the RAM and GPU together.
side note: my GPU played games great aside from the occasional artifacts... sometimes I could go 6 hours with no artifacts.

Yeah, that XFX PSU is a quality unit, and while even the highest end part can sometimes come out of the box bad, it's extremely unlikely with a Seasonic built unit, as all XFX PSUs are built by them.

Gigabytes specs do specify a 600w PSU, which is probably a good idea. That unit has a 45 amp rating though, which should be fine for that card as long as it's never pushed hard. If you plan to push it anywhere near it's limits, get a bigger supply for sure, but again, it would be a good idea. That should not cause any normal use issues though, of the type you are experiencing.

You should be fine on shipping. So long as it was post marked prior to the expiration they SHOULD honor it. I've seen the Egg pulling some sheisty shit lately...

Here is the build including PSU. All items were ordered on 8/28 and built about 5 days later.
Microsoft.answers came to the conclusion that my RAM was bad through Kernel Mem Dump and Memtest86+. I had no problems with just the 1 stick of good RAM, but with the bad stick and/or the GPU in I would get BSoDs and with just the GPU in I would get Artifacts.

Many people have said my PSU is big enough, but the GPU box does say 600w minimum PSU.

I've already sent the GPU and RAM in for RMA through Newegg(where I ordered all the parts). The GPU 14 days is up on the 30th and I'm hoping it arrives today. What happens if the item doesn't get to Newegg RMA place in time or on the day the RMA expires? UPS had scheduling errors or some crap, and I'm hoping it doesn't make the items too late.

They refused to even give me product specific information regarding several products they currently sell. They referred me to the OEMs who told me, "We don't know what Newegg has on their shelf or in their warehouse. They could have products they bought from us months ago.". Lot of help they both were. Anyhow, I think you'll be ok. Let's hope. When you get those parts back, if you have the same issue, I would immediately RMA or return the PSU and get a bigger one by XFX, Seasonic or another Tier 2b or above unit.
