Everything I want to download right now is going straight into my SSD and I am wondering if there is a way to set my HDD as my default save location. Thanks.

Well change the download folder in the browser's options if you mean downloads from the internet.

Create a folder on the hdd. . Go to the options in the browser/s select it

Here ya go:
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirect...
Win 8.1: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redi...

Downloads are covered in there, but tl-dr: Just go into the browser settings and change the default download location.
