Thanks for all the help i have received with my builds thus far. After a few months to save my money and ponder more parts and combinations, i wanted to ask the community if you guys saw any problems, (I.E it wont run, it will bottleneck). My budget is currently 1400 dollars (possible 1500 when my next paycheck comes in), and i hope to run games like CS:Go, TF2, Battlefield 4, The Division, Destiny, and other general FPS/MMO's. I want to run it somewhere around a constant frame-rate of 40-64. Im not super picky considering I'm coming from the XBOX ONE. Here is the rig, any improvements, forseen problems, or advice is welcome, but the main thing i want to know, is that if i put it together, turn it on and pop in the windows 8 download, will it work. Thanks!

You chose a SAS drive. You will want a SATA drive. If you wish to stick with a traditional HDD, I would recommend a Western Digital Black Edition drive as it will give you the extra speed to load games, files, and such in a more timely manner. It will be no where close to the speeds of a SSD but it will definitely do in a pinch.

Other than that everything looks great.

@terror

He linked a 1080p panel so I assume that he will be playing games on a single 1080p screen.

@OP

You could choose a GPU such as the 780 GTX if you want maximum performance in your games and not worry about upgrading for a few years (you can catch many of them on sale for under $500 at the moment). You could also wait until tomorrow to see what the 900 series is going to bring as Nvidia is showcasing them tomorrow.

You could also get a 770 GTX at a good deal which would also run all of your games at 1080p.

If you want to go the AMD route you could go with a solution such as the R9 280x.

I will personally recommend Nvidia until AMD can get their temperatures under control.

You did not mention a case but I would recommend an aftermarket cooler such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. This is a fantastic cooler for a great price which will allow you to overclock your 4690k should you wish to do so. Make sure to check your case specifications and see if the cooler you decide upon will fit and that the GPU you choose will also fit.

Im not planning to overclock as of yet, but thanks for the help. My friend is selling me their GTX 770 that was used for a week before he got a 780. Thanks for the case idea i had been looking for one i thought would work for space and cooling, Thanks for the help!

If you need a case recommendation, I would definitely recommend one of the Corsair Carbide or Air series. I personally use a Carbide 400r for my general use / gaming machine and it has been a great case with plenty of room for expansion. It allows a CM Hyper 212 Evo in, as well as a GTX 780.

Ok so after looking at all the feedback i decided to change the rig a little, heres the new list. I swapped the HDD, added a nice Case, changed my RAM, and added the cooler master fan that was recommended.
