Do i really need a cpu cooler if i don't overclock, i am getting a i5 4690k with a GTX 760 for a gaming build.

The one i am looking at is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (only if i actually need it though)

The 212EVO will fit the phantom no problems :) Plenty of room.

If the difference is that small then for sure go for it as you can extend the life of your build down the road. Overclocking is sooooo easy these days, and with that EVO temps will be close to stock.

Nice looking build by the way :)

If you plan on overclocking.. (Which i assume you are since you chose the K processor) You're for sure going to want to pick up a CPU cooler. I wouldn't advise you to overclock at all with the stock cooler, It can hardly handle stock clocks.

The 212 EVO is an awesome choice, cheap yet performs similar to 70-80$ coolers. You can get a great mild overclock with it and it keeps temps low. Just make sure your case will fit that monster, It's massive!

It isn't necessary, but since the EVO is only 25-30$... I would pick it up. It honestly does make a pretty big difference in temps. Higher temps = less life of your chip... Although, at stock temps, it's not going to be much of an impact.

If you have the money, it's well worth it!
