My cable company provided a Ubee DDW365 and it has been cutting out. If I plug in a better router to the Ubee will that make my situation any better or do I need to buy a better modem/router?

Solution
Depends on what's causing the issue. If it's WiFi, it will help. If it's the CPU in the cheap router not handling the NAT, then it will help if you put the cheap one into bridge mode. If it's a modem issue, new modem. If it's a line fault, you'll need to talk to your ISP.

Hard to know. If the problem is with the modem, that a better router will not help. If the issue is with the router function, than disabling this in the Ubee, and using a separate router should help. Does the thing cut out if you connect to it with a wire? That may give you some idea what the issue really is.

I would contact them and see if they will just provide a modem so you can pick out what router you want to use.

On the other hand, the device is provided by them, so they will be responsible for fixing your issue (in theory at least :) ), did you try contacting them about the issue?
