Below are Award BIOS Beep codes that can occur. However, because of the wide variety of different computer manufacturers with this BIOS, the beep codes may vary.

1 long, 2 short - Indicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information

appears to be some sort of incompatibility...try a BIOS update if available?

An interesting poser. You say the motherboard is unknown, yet it is an Ivy bridge cpu.,
one of several lower chipsets,I wont list them.
You are running 1 x 8 and 1 x 2 gig ram, which means you added the 8 after taking out a 2 X 1333 stick, unless I am mistaken. Then you add a graphics card from 2004 and expect it all to run.
I have to hand it to you,you have quite a pair. You may try going back to 4 gig and try a more recent graphics card. Backwards compatibility has never been all it was made out, and I doubt it was meant to go quite THAT far.

Are you saying it may work with a newer model card, like a 750 ti?
