I turned it on and I heard the beep, but my monitor just shows its logo and then says no signal and the power button goes from green to yellow. Any solutions?

Are the CPU / ATX connections plugged in the headers?

Well the post beep is a good sign. Does your motherboard have integrated graphics? If so plug your monitor there then go into you BIOS and set your video preference to the PCIe video.

APU is the name given to an AMD CPU that support graphics. But, I did not say APU??? Did you mean PSU. PSU is Power Supply Unit.

Do you have the monitor connected to the GPU and not the motherboard?

That mobo needs to have BIOS 2001 on it to support that CPU. Since it's recent. That maybe one reason why it wont stay on

True the cable has to be in the installed card not the onboard video

I plugged the monitor blue thing into the mother board because the graphics card didnt has on of the blue connect pieces.

Yes it does have integrated graphic. Plug your monitor into the motherboard and let us know if you have video?

No, you have to connect the monitor to the GPU, this is your problem.

He needs to remove the GPU before he does this. It should work fine if he connects the monitor to the GPU. He should have no settings that need changing at all.

Yes, you need to connect the monitor to the GPU. I believe it came with a DVI to VGA adapter. You can use that if you only have a VGA (blue) cable.

If you install a card you have to plug the cable into it. If this blue part or whatever it is isnt there put it on then plug it into the card you installed

There is one fan in the case and then another on top of the processor. When I start playing games what if it gets really hot if its already at 95 f when doing nothing

Is this your first build?? If it is, make sure the fans are connected the right way. With the air

The front in, top out, back out, if any bottom fans some people say in

95f is not hot. It is actually pretty cool. Thats normal idle temp for the CPU. You have no issue.
