your priorities are in order. The PC will do GREAT with renders and is way more than capable as gaming machine. A lot of gamers here have high standards. People game on a lot less, this will meet your expectations with ease.

The only game I play are league and gw2. I play some bf4 but 60fps on high would be enough. Will the build be sufficient?
I got the xeon ( i think the xeon has the same spec as a 3770?) for 99$ and the gpu for 160$. So it was pretty much a no-brainer.
I built the system in mind that it will last 4-5 years. Your opinions?
I am a engineering student, so I use stuff like autocad and i render quite a bit with photoshop. is the gpu/cpu strong enough?

If you truly got that CPU and that GPU for $99 and $160 respectively, then you are laughing all the way to the bank. Have you already purchased them? If your into rendering and you have already made such a good saving on those two components I would recommend getting 2x8 gb of good ram running in duel channel. That way your set for a long time and can better upgrade in the future.

Nice GPU though! Nice Build!

I am a silence freak. So i got the giant liquid cooler with a fan at 200 rpm xD.
Yes, I just got the cpu+gpu ystday. The cpu is perfect(runs at 50c after 10h of prime95)
But there is a prob with the gpu though. One of the fan is broken and make huge noises if i run above 25% fan speed.
Its a gb windforce edition and the broken one is on the end side of the card. Do you guys think that I should simply take it off?
Still under warranty but dont wanna bother with the downtime...(no igpu)
