Hello, I have a GTX 750 TI with 12 GB of ram, a crappy pentium G860 dual core 3.00 ghz.
In a few days I am going to be getting a I5 3570K, I am just wondering if it is worth it, how much of a difference it is going to make in my fps / computer performance, maybe how many more frames I will get in games, thanks.

Hi,

This is a tricky question, but new i5 benchmarks anywhere between 2 and 3 times as fast as your old Pentium, however, most games are bound by the limits of the GPU not the processor. Depending on the game and how it loads the gpu/cpu you could actually see a difference of anywhere between the full 3x faster and nothing at all depending on how much the old cpu was holding your fps back. In reality I would expect somewhere around a 50% increase in fps, your 750TI is a capable card and it is likely that the cpu was holding it back
