Building a Gaming Comp. I have the money to afford either, but is it worth it? Just trying to decide on these final parts for the last part of my build.

Solution
The 4790k is fine, x99 are for workstations so it's not even needed for gaming, also, they use ddr4 ram and they are more expensive and even more unnecessary for gaming, get the 4790k, it'll last you at leazt 7 years and you can spend the money saved on better gpu or parts, plus the board is great
