Hi, so I asked this question before and I'm asking it again since I didn't really get a good answer.

I'm a student so I really dont have that much money to waste to buy expensive rigs, therefore I need a motherboard which will be durable and good for gaming. I won't be overclocking yet, but in the future, little bit of overclocking will be done.

So could anyone help me out? I will be placing an order tomorrow.

The Z97X Gaming is a really nice board. I am partial to Gigabyte, but the Asus board is nice too. Both do overclocking well, both support fast dual channel RAM (1600 MHz and factory overclocked modules), they both have their overclocking and hardware monitoring software suites and UEFI BIOS, support all variety of RAID and SATA 2/3, yadda, yadda. Really, you can't go wrong with either, but I like value, so I'd go with the Asus. Love Gigabyte products, but I usually go with the better deal for roughly the same product.

Asus and Gigabyte are my favourite when it comes to motherboards.. I really suggest the Z97-A in this case however. I never look at reviews on new egg for products newer than 1.5 years old. All they tell me is how many DOAs that board had.. Not how long their board lasted and DOAs combined.
