Hello,
When running CHKDSK you don't actually repair bad sector, you just reallocate them. All HDDs have a “hidden” portion of sectors. Usually all sectors on a drive are numbered so you can use them. However those hidden sectors aren't numbered. When one of the numbered sectors becomes bad, its number is assigned to one of these spare sectors. This is how you get a reallocated sector. In this case the HDD is already out of spare sectors so it can no longer reallocate bad sectors.
In general this is an indicator of bad drive health. It's a good idea that you backup all your important data held on this HDD. You could also run the manufacturer diagnostics tool to check the drive further.

Hope that helps.

Is the "hidden" portion on the partition being used? Or is it on an unallocated portion of the physical disk? The reason I ask is that I'm wondering if I can shrink an adjacent partition & expand my C drive, to create more space for the hidden sectors.
