Is there something wrong?

Hey all, I have an i7-4790k, a EVGA GTX770 4GB and 16GB RAM, but only getting 50-200 FPS on minecraft singleplayer! im not sure if i downloaded minecraft wrong or something but don't know what to do, many thanks. i built my computer a few days ago.

Minecraft is a terribly hardware optimized game that is ONLY relevant to your CPU.

The human eye is PERFECTLY happy with FPS around 60FPS. Most people do not even know the difference above 30FPS.

Your FPS seems normal to me and is more than good enough for you to look at all day.

Try some other games and/or benchmarks. might be something with this specific game.

What kind of frames should i expect in Team fortress and stuff?

Team Fortress is a bad example, it fluctuates a lot and isn't very GPU intense either.

What other games do you play?
