Hello!

I'm on a MSI Z77A-G45 and want to add another fan plus either an SSD or a normal hard drive or both. I'm however not sure how many slots are still free on the motherboard, does anyone know if I can connect an SSD and 2 HDDs?
For the fan, I currently have a fan near my HDD. The case still offers space to attach fans above and behind the CPU cooller and across from the mainboard at hight of the GPU. Is it possible to tell without picture which location makes more sense?

The specs say there are 2 SATAIII-slots and 4 SATAII, however I don't remember which is used for what. I only know that I current have one CD-drive and one HDD connected.

shouldn't be any issues connecting 2HDDs and 1 SSD.I'd suggest putting fan behind CPU cooler, will relieve your main cooler on heavy CPU loads, since both fans will work slower, they'll last longer too.

Oh, that was quick. Thank you very much! I'll try to get a closer look at the SATA slots when cleaning the case later.

Do I connect the new drives to the SATAII then or ? I believe the SATAIII ones are used for CD drive and my old HDD, not sure if I can just switch something around?
