The I7 you have in there will be great for compiling all of these as I believe the compilers do support threaded processes.

However if you arent doing large projects (and im guessing you arent as you are new into computers) then I would say go with an I5 4790 system, this will still be very fast.
The graphics card is ok, but has been superseded today by the 970. If you are only going to be doing a bit of gaming then I doubt you would notice the difference.
The H60 would be better of being an Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO it would be great, or you could even stick to the cooler that comes with the I5/I7 if you dont plan to overclock.

Basically, this PC is im guessing quite expensive, and I think you could spend less and not notice the...

Ok, here is the build, as long as you feel confident building it.

The thing will monster any game you throw at it. If you want to go even higher on the GFX card front then put a 980Gtx in it and the build will cost closer to your 1.4k max budget.

Again, this build is serious overkill, but better balanced for gaming and coding. Do you need an OS and monitor, mouse and keyboard as well? If so that should be ok to fit into your budget is we stick on the 970Gtx :)

Hope this helps mate.
