gigabyte gtx 770 or vapor-x r9 280x?

Gtx 770 vs 280x. Amd sucks because they GPU architecture is way behind there is a 40 to 60 percent chance the 280x will over heat TREMENDOUSLY due to the fact that ALL even OEM 280x has been extremely mega clocked. To be able to compete the gtx 770 will have SLIGHTLY less performance thaN THE 280x. But the 770 has MUCH HIGHER QUALITY, and WONT over heat when you Superclocked. Also the GTX 970 came out so just get that it literally smashes the fuck out of the 290x

Between those 2 I prefer the 770 but the 280x is just as good of a card that isn't getting the credit here.
That being said a 970 for just a small bit more would be a way better investment
