nVidia GTX 780 6gb VS GTX 980 4gb?

I litterally just bought the 6gb 780 a week ago...and now nVidia have released the 980 4gb for the same damn price! Is the 980 better than the 6gb 780? If so,should I get a refund off Amazon and buy the 980? Thanks in advance

The 980 falls somewhere between the 780 and the 780 Ti,making it slightly stronger than the 780.
You can RMA the card and get the 980 if you want.

Even with the 780 having 2gb more VRAM? + Is it easy to return or do I have to tell Amazon it's faulty?

4GB is more than enough for games today,but games will start coming out that are optimized for 6 and 8 cores and more than 2GB of VRAM.But that won't happen soon.
I have never done RMAing myself,but I think that you can RMA it without telling them that it's faulty.

The 980 is an all around faster card that's why. Having more VRAM doesn't make a card better or faster for gaming. The 980 is the better choice.

That's up to Amazon and/or the company that used Amazon to sell their product. You would have to find that info out yourself. Contact Amazon.

There maybe a restocking fee but yes normally their return policies are similar to a retail place like bestbuy or microcenter

980 willl beat the 780 Ti in some games,so there's no doubt that the 980 is stronger than the 780.

It's probably a typo,there is no GBBR5.
