Amd 6300 fx 6 core. I recently changed cases. The case has 3 fans, two on top and one on the back. Im useing the stock cpu fan. Idle is fine, running anything im fine. But when I download anything, mainly large files due to duration, the temp has climbed to 69c. As soon as the downloading has stopped it goes back down to 40-50c. Is this normal? Could there be an issue somewhere?

If you are worried then remove the heatsink, clean all the thermal paste off of it and put it back on again with new paste. I am more concerned about that fan layout though, 2 at the top and one at the back? What are they doing? If they are all sucking air out then where is it coming in from? Ideally I would move that rear fan to the front and make in an intake fan so air is drawn through the case, over the cpu and gpu and out the top outtakes.

Then to reasure yourself run something like prime95 for two hours. If the cpu doesnt get over 80c you are fine, unistall the program and never worry again! If it does get over 80 after doing that then come back and we can troubleshoot it

Thats weird but not much to worry about, how are those fans laid out though? The 6300 does run hot, it can go to 80c without problems though and some people have pushed them further. Thermal cutout will turn it off before it burns out.

It just worried me that the ai suite II program that came with the motherboard popped up and my temp was to high. Should there be a different program I should use?
