Hello

Two games are coming out soon:

-Alien Isolation which is recommended to have a 'AMD: Phenom II X4 955 - 4 Core, 3.2 GHz or Intel: Core 2 Quad Q9650 - 4 Core, 3.0 GHz

-Dying Light which is recommended to need an 'quad core CPU @3GHz '

I have compared the Phenom II X4 955 with my AMD CPU online and the sites say the Phenom II is 2% better than my nice budget Athlon II and the recommended Phenom II is just a different socket type.

So could i play these games on 1080p at 60fps on i would say medium settings with my current CPU?

Thanks

Its near impossible to say until the game is out and tested.
The recommended specs are just a rough guideline and are rarely any indication as to what settings you could run it on.

I would expect you to AT LEAST be able to play these 2 games on high(with lowered AA) at 1080p.

Thanks for all the replies

I only use MLAA (ATI's Anti-aliasing) on old games, never on new ones as it makes the camera feel sluggish.

This is the ram i bought:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004CRSM4I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also Videographer i'm fine with 30fps on my console but never on a pc ever. Its 60 or nothing at all as on 50fps or below everything just looks like sluggish slow motion. I would not buy those games if it means i'm at 30fps.

If i play Alien Isolation i want to be concentrating on not being eaten by the Xenomorph, not getting annoyed about the low fps.
I am just hoping its a smooth 60fps on 1920x 1080 on medium with anti-aliasing off.

Thanks
