I have installed a new ssd 120gb with Windows 7 64bits, now my graphics card with installed software is making my pc freeze, so I have had to disable it. checking system I find that my ssd is listed as SCSI ide when it should be SATA II.
Note: HP tells me that I should change it, because I don't have ACHI??? but looking on the Samsung site, the hard disk is SATA 6GB.
Another thing, Samsung magician can't find my ssd?
Please help me!

When I look at Dev. Mgr. under "Disk Drives" my 128 GB Samsung 840 Pro is listed as "Samsung SSD 840 Pro Seri SCSI Disk Device". Also, there is a heading for "IDE ATA/ATAPIcontrollers". Under this heading, Windows lists "Intel(R) 8 Series/C220 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller".

These names have been in use on my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS for the past year without any problems. My benchmark results are amazing and I don't see any problems with the way that the SSD is currently installed.
