A clipboard icon has appeared in the last days and I can hide it (Customize Notifications) but I cannot find what program has generated it. In the Customize Notifications 'Current Items' the icon has <no title). Left or right clicking on the icon nothing happens. If I turn off the computer completely off then reboot the icon appears about in 10 minutes but does vary. I have not installed any new programs for a very long time. I have added a pic.
Any help would appreciated.

"I have added a pic."

It must have flown off somewhere - - I don't see pic or link.

Well I still maintain there was no URL link in your first post.

I moved on from XP a decade ago and don't recognise that icon. However, it's possibly a third-party icon so check your Startup items with "Ccleaner": http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/tech/

Look for a line that references a clipboard-type application and disable it.

Hello Phillip
You are right, there is no URL in my first post but I did click in the photo icon and the URL was posted into my message with img tags each end of it as I said. However it did not show when I posted my message.
I am not too bothered about that but there has no answer to this.
I have finally tracked the program that has been responsible. It is Acronis Trueimagemontitor.exe. It started because I have started using Acronis backing up some files.
Thank you
