i have asus m4a785-m motherboard
6 gb ddr2 800mhz
phenom 2 x6 1075t at 3 ghz
amd radeon r9 270x graphics card

i have an alterbative to buy m7a77td pro asus motherboard that supports ddr3 1066, 1333 and 1600 mhz

my question is ...is it worth to buy that motherboard and does it impact gaming frame rates ??

i can play new games at 40 to 50 fps right now like bf4 ,thief, and watch dogs between 30 to 40 fps at max 1920 by 1080 with vsync off

More about : ddr2 800 mhz ddr3 1333mhz gaming impact

the ddr3 1333 as a wider fsb so there faster data transfer rates..and its really worth buying a motherboard that has a higher fsb because it allow more data to transfered buy the ram and enabling you to get a better experience in gaming.. i suggest you upgrade to the a hiigher fsb ram than 1333mhz though , go for the 1600mhz

yes it does have a impact on overall experience it generally give you a little fps boost something like 4-8 fps ..its definitely worth it though because ddr 3 is more future friendly than the ddr 2 you have ..

no not really as long as you have enough ram which you do the games will play just as fine however as i said it will be a little smoother with ddr3 ..if you cpu can only support ddr3 1333mhz then by all means go for it .. the difference between the 1600 and 1333 is next to nothing honestly its just looks better on paper and knowing the fsb is wider.. there will be no bottleneck in your system
