Hi, I just bought a 4k monitor. Should I get the R9 295X2 or 2x GTX 780 TI SLI. There's about a $200 price difference between the two after a rebate on Amazon. It looks like there about even in the benchmarks except for Call of Duty Ghosts. It looks like the GTX 780 has a faster GPU but the R9 295X has more memory which is suppose to be good for running games at higher resolutions. Thanks for any suggestions.

R9 295x2

More suited to larger resolutions sporting 4GB of vram and a 512bit memory bus. It is also much better value.

definitely go with the r9 295x2 its better to have one powerful card rather than two weaker coupled together to beat another plus your going to save money with the r9 295x2 .. the memory will surely do you a favor at 4k res too

Thanks for the suggestions. I can only run games in 3840x2160 and then 1920x1200 and down. Unfortunately there's no option in between those resolutions which would be very helpful.

The R9 295x has two R9 290 Chips on one card. So its will follow the same nature as the two cards in crossfire or SLI as it is essentially internal crossfire. Gaming with titles where multi GPU support is absent, the R9 295x will perform like a normal R9 290x.

I wouldnt suggest the 780ti, but 2x 980 i think would win the day. Will cost more but features/power/power consumption will win
