i'm having a majoe issue and not sure what the event logs are telling me.....i have linked them below.

this problem has been happening for about a week now.....it started happening after leaving the pc running for 4-5 days it would become sluggish and programs would not open...now it seems to be happening after about 24 hours of running.

so i go to restart and it hangs on "logging off" , have to pull the plug after 8 hours of sitting

if, after i pull the plug and reboot....I then try to restart again within a few moments of the last boot...it will restart ok, no problem....it seems that if the pc runs for an extended time is when this problem occurs

symptoms:
most programs will suddenly not open after a while
websites would stop opening in chrome
cannot open folders on my pc

what i've checked:

all updates for windows have been added
memory diagnostic looks ok, i think there are no problems
ran norton, superantispyware, malwarebytes, ccleaner (registry as well) all good
if i boot in safe mode, and restart it boots up properly
tried setting back to a restore point 1 week earlier which was about when the problem started...did not solve issue

i have attached some event logs and summary event logs and administrative event logs

administrative event log in excel format:
http://

here are my summary event logs in .txt format:
http://

administrative event logs:
http://

what are the event logs suggesting and how would i fix?

should i run the windows 7 repair disk i just created?

thanks for your help

All drivers are up to date and are functioning properly so not sure if that's the issue

I'll check that out, orlbuckeye, in that thread they mention using Microsoft Fixit and i had previously tried that and it didn't solve the issue.....i'll try to follow their instruction to stop the Event ID 10

it sounds like this is just stopping the error message and not fixing the actual problem.....i want to fix the root problem
