So here's the deal. My graphics card has just recently started doing this and I'm not sure why. It hardly runs the fan and then it gets up to like 90C and the fan will kick up to like 100% for a couple seconds and then turn silent again. If I just manually set the fan to around 50 ~ 60% it really doesn't go over 65C. Is the sensor messed up or what? It's like it doesn't know to cool off until it's already way too hot.

I have the same problem. I thought the fan controler burnt out. Did you manage to fix it? If so, how?

Sent it in for an RMA and was approved. Card was simply malfunctioning. However- if you set manual fan control through MSI afterburner you can control the temps. You'll just have to listen to the fan run around 70+%
