Hello.
I don't know is it a good category to type in, but it fits most.
I've got a problem with Dead Rising 3. Everything run fine, but there is one thing which made me angry. I haven't got 1920x1080 resolution in display settings. I've changed renderinfo file and it always runs with 1920x1200 resolution. It's bad, because my monitor supports only to 1920x1080. So i'm getting black screen and a warning from my monitor.
How can I fix this?
It's my renderinfo file:

// Render Settings
Language = en
ScreenWidth = 1680 - i've changed it to 1920
ScreenHeight = 1050 - i've changed it to 1080
WindowLeft = 312
WindowTop = 160
WindowWidth = 1296
WindowHeight = 759
FullScreen = true
RefreshNumerator = 59954
RefreshDenominator = 1000
Gamma = 1.0
RENDER_QUALITY = RENDER_QUALITY_CUSTOM
GAME_RESOLUTION = GAME_RESOLUTION_1080P
TEXTURE_RESOLUTION = TEXTURE_RESOLUTION_HIGH
SHADOW_QUALITY = SHADOW_QUALITY_HIGH
SHADOW_RESOLUTION = SHADOW_RESOLUTION_HIGH
SSAO = SSAO_ENABLED
SSS = SSS_ENABLED
MIRROR_QUALITY = MIRROR_QUALITY_HIGH
VSYNC = VSYNC_DISABLED
AA_TYPE = AA_TYPE_SMAA_T2X
ZOMBIE_QUALITY = ZOMBIE_QUALITY_HIGH
MOTION_BLUR = MOTION_BLUR_ENABLED
DOF = DOF_ENABLED
TEXTURE_FILTERING = TF_ANISOX4
SKY_QUALITY = SKY_QUALITY_HIGH
LOD_DISTANCE = LOD_DISTANCE_11

Solution
then its exactly as i feared. the only way to correct this problem would be to get a card with a dsub or get a monitor with the supported ports on the card.. other than that your pretty much stuck with that resolution..am sorry .. i had the same problem and i went and replaced my monitor because i had enough money at the moment ..

are you by any chance using a dvi to vga adapter or any adapter of that sort ?

not necesarily i want to cover all basis before i can confidently make a judgement and a resolution to the problem.. usually this problem is caused by an adapter such dvi to vga,dvi to hdmi and so on.. it generally dont display the monitors correct attributes in the catalys(amd) or nvidia control panel depending on which card you have installed.. is your monitor correctly recognised ?
