Solution
I have been having this problems ever since august 10th, never had a problem for four years. I figured it was the power supply so last week I installed a new one. Weird thing is games now start to run primarily on the CPU and I get 20-10 fps on games I would get 60-50.

This doesn't happen when I put the old PSU though, and I haven't crashed during any games.

Perhaps the problem lies within the PSU still and I had just received a defective PSU.

And here's a tutorial on how to use it.

Running it for 2-4 passes should give you an idea if there is a problem but its not guaranteed to find anything in that few, its best to start it before you go to bed and let it run overnight.
