Hiii, my cpu is death :( two pins on colling have broked and cpu cooked him self and i supose he is gone

now i need to buy new cpu, so can you help me and say which is the best, i wanted quad but look like mbo dont support

my motherboard is ASUS P5VD2-X
i have 3gb ddr2 ram, and hd 4550 vga...

thanks for quick answer, myself looked that and e6700 seams to be best solution (x6800 seams that im my place nobody sales :(), 2,66ghz, i have seen that pentium d have 3,4ghz and 2 cores, but what i have researched core 2 duo is far better option?

what do you think can i put e6750+ will it run it?

i have found 5-6 ads for selling e6750 but so far none of x6800 and e6700 hehe so lucky haha

i have to keep looking, one of these two cpu i will get, eventualy e6600 i whing evrything else wouldnt payof to buy
