Hi everyone,

while working with any program of the Office 2013, the system crashes. In more details, sometimes the system recovers with "the video driver stopped responding and has recovered", but more often the system freezes and the only solution is to force it off.
My configuration:
- pc laptop sony vaio vpcsa3c5e with double graphic (AMD/Intel) and hardware switch
- windows 7 64bit Home Premium SP1
- AMD Radeon HD6630M
- driver ver: 8.862.4.4000

The AMD support site has an updated driver, but it doesn't fit my laptop.

Thank you all in advance for your help,
Sal.

Only download drivers for your laptop from Sony. Standard drivers from AMD will not work.

Thank you Wolf.

The current installed driver version is the newest one, according to the Sony support site for my laptop.

That's probably correct. Laptop manufacturers are not well known for keeping their drivers up to date like AMD or NVidia do.

You reverted back to the latest drivers from Sony. Are you still experiencing crashes when opening Office 2013 programs?
