Hi all,

I had a look at the Linus tech tips overclocking master sheet and decided I'd start off with half of the speeds recorded there.

In MSI Afterburner, I set the power limit to +25%, the core to 1100MHz but when the memory is set to 1388MHz, the screen goes black.
I tried alt tabbing. ctrl alt deleting but to no avail in either case, in the end I had to hard reset my PC. It loads up fine and resets the settings to stock.

Is this a sign that 1387MHz is my card's limit? Do I need to increase power? I've not actually run any benchmarks with it yet so not sure if it's even stable yet but wanted to sort this before I went any further. If you need more details, just shout.

Thanks all!

When the screen goes black it's usually your cards limit meaning your card can't handle that speed but if you increase power to your card it might handle it well just watch the temps more power means more heat.
