Hello everyone, I am looking to build a gaming pc for the first time! I have been doing research round abouts a year now and I think I'm getting close to ordering my parts to put it together and I wanted to know if this pc (parts list below) will run all high end games on the max setting with the fps locked at 60. I don't know if this is possible but I would love to see it done. I have been putting up with an old laptop for a long time and I'm ready to have a pc that will tackle any game with ease. The only issue is I'm broke most of the time (unless I save up) and I want to not spend my entire lifes savings on something like a pc. I want it to stay below $1000 (can fluctuate $100 dollars or so for shipping) so if you are going to list a better build please keep that in mind. Of course I would like all the basics (cpu, motherboard, memory, ssd storage, video card, case, power supply, cd and dvd drive, and microsoft os) as well as a monitor (and speakers if not built into monitor). I really appreciate the help and would love to see corrections to my stupidity (if I made any mistakes).

Well, im not that into AMD, but i know an Quad core of AMD doesnt perform as well as an Intel Quad core.
You might consider an 6-core AMD and an AM3 board. And because AMD processors are pretty hotheads, you should consider an aftermarket CPU cooler, to extend your PC life.

For a gaming rig, this would be far better. You might want to consider at least a 1tb drive for storage, though.
