Hi,

My dad has limited the internet speed because I take up quite a bit of bandwidth. Is this possible:

I can remember with the early days of broadband we had a server with NT4 on it, and I am sure he used to combine broadband and dial-up connections, and it would make quite a bit of difference.

Is it possible? He limited it because I used to take up a lot of bandwidth, so he limited each IP. Is there anyway I can use WiFi and ethernet?

Thanks

If you could we really shouldn't tell you how.

But since you can't I can explain why you can't. You can connect to 2 different networks with the ethernet and the wireless and if you worked hard at it you could run some traffic on one and some on the other. You can't hook 2 different interfaces to the same network. They are in the same subnet range and the OS will get confused so it only allows you to have one active at at time.
