Soon this month
I'm gonna build a gaming pc..
And i needed a psu..
So i kept searching and searching until i stumbled upon this ad on ebay

Is this psu any good?
Coz I see that it's 80 plus Gold rated

Future build-
Cpu-i5 4460
GPU-Sapphire r9 280x Dual-X
Mobo-Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3
RAM-Cosair Vengeance 4GBx2 1600MHz

My first choice was Corsair CX600 v2
But then i read some bad reviews about it..
So i continued my search for a better PSU..

seasonic is a world renowned power supply company and is considered the gold standard for all power supplies. only get that seasonic if that is your two choices
Seasonic S12II is a great choice and will last many years

you can compare that psu to the tier list to see if its good or not http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

generally speaking if the psu fall below tier 3 then you should not get it

Umm...
So CX600 was bad...

But the Circle PSU i mentioned isnt there in any of the tiers...

So the corsair option has been dropped..

So the choice is between
Seasonic S12II (Bronze standard) and the Circle 600 Watt Raw Power(Gold Standard)...

Please tell me which one to choose..?

Actually there are 2 12V rails in that PSU

Edit-I also read that the ECO series werent that good for high end GPUs

btw that gold silver platinum ratings have nothing to do with the quality of the power supply they only reference how effective that they are for turning electricity from the wall into watts that you can use. it does not mean that it made with quality components or that its build quality is any good
