i have a q6600 just replaced the hd added a ssd. Tried a different psu. I don't know a whole lot about comps so I could use some help. I am trying to rebuild this one for my wife. When it powercycles it doesnt even load up on monitor it just turns fas on and then turns off after one second then turns back on so on so forth. Should I Just get new mobo and cpu?

Make sure the SSD has the cables correctly plugged in. sometimes they can get a little loose and not make full contact. Also, I once built a pc and forgot to plug the pci-e 6pin into the graphics card and it caused my pc to boot and shut down over and over and gave me a mini spasm. I'm sorry for sounding like Verizon tech support but just make sure all the cables are in correctly. Also, are you saying you tried another power supply to find the issue or that you also upgraded the PSU? Last thing, I had a pair of ripjaw ram that whenever I plugged into my i5 would cause it to power cycle and never boot but plugged into my amd system would work 100% but thats a lot more rare. Did you try seeing if putting your old parts in allowed it to boot again?
