Well every time i think im done news comes out making me wait for some nextgen piece. And the 970 has arrived. i ordered my evga SC 780 for 490$ to find out 970 was better for 300$ had just enough time to cancel thankfully.

So what am i doing with this build?

Streaming, editing, eventually sli, eventually 1440p for singleplayer games, OC ofc (not to an extreme that hurts my processor) Gaming ofc

My games, arma 3, rust, dayz, WoW, archeage, (black desert eventually), witcher 3, farcry 3/4, da3, Skyrim heavyly modded.

heres my current (demo) build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/L6XNsY

I plan to swap that 970 for Evga 970 FTW edition when it comes out or something better.

I dont understand motherboards so much so im not sure if the one i picked is the best for the price or whatevr.

Powersupply i understand is the most important part so that one i picked could just be a placeholder. I give 0 fucks about electrical bill, however i give many fucks about my pc exploding.

That isnt the monitor im going with im gunna get http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-XL2420TE-Performance-24-Inch-Monitor/dp/B00D7IG556
^ i read that it makes dark places see able, while ill love this in arma/dayz/rust ill hate this in single player games because it will break the immersion. can i turn this off or someshit or just deal with it till i get my 1440p monitor?

Ram should i get 2400 or stick with the 1866? 10 bucks aint no big deal if its like 1-2 fps

OCing to 4.5ghz for now will that cooler be enough?

Case i just picked something random im inexperienced with all this what should i get? i dont care about how cool it looks it can look like a garbage can if it does the job.

Since i saved 200$ on 970 should i bump my processor up to i7 for the future and streaming or stick with the i5?

Im gunna use Wifi so will that adapter work good with gaming? (yes i know ethernet > wifi. cant be helped atm) eventually ill use ethernet in like 6-months or so. Or does motherboards come with it.

Thank you for your time and help:) <33333333

You can get the beta / preview versions for free from MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) but otherwise if you want a legit copy you'll have to pay for it.

And yes that's correct that you can't use a Z87 motherboard with a 4690K, without BIOS update.

The original build looks pretty solid, the only thing I would maybe change would be the PSU and go for an EVGA G2 or P2, or anything made by Seasonic but otherwise that looks good to me.

also windows 9 i heard a rumor some people can get it for free? also should i wait for that even if it isnt free?

also "Some Intel Z87 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs" id perfer not to mess with BIOS as im not savy in that area at all.
