They are not actually two different options. LED refers to the backlight method while LCD refers to the display technology. You will generally find LED LCD displays and that is what I would get for a new monitor.

What you may want to decide is if you want your monitor to come with an IPS display vs a standard TN display. Both of these are LCD but they have certain tradeoffs. An IPS monitor will give you better color quality and wider viewing angles while the TN display usually has a better response rate.

You can find 1080p IPS displays with really good refresh rates and response times comparable to a TN display but they are generally more expensive.

If you are a competitive first person shooter style gamer you will want a monitor with a low response time and high refresh rate, something along the lines of 120+Hz and 1ms response time. If you want more eye candy grab an IPS display but be prepared for a higher price with similar performance.

So the led is more relaxable to eyes? I play dota 2 and will probably play single player shooter game. And that new monitor would be of 24''

If you want a monitor that does not cause eye strain, choose something from this list:

Aside from TN and IPS panels, there are also VA panels including AMVA that have better black levels.
PLS and AHVA are the same as IPS.
