Should I upgrade from a gtx 780 sc acx to the new 980

Solution
No. You won't perform any better at that resolution and hz. Even if you had SLI GTX 780's I would say an upgrade to SLI 980's would not be worth it, if you were on a 1440p resolution and 60hz. With that card you won't need to do an upgrade, in my opinion, unless you want to max at 1440p in which case I think you should just add another GTX 780 or 4K but unless its 60hz I wouldn't suggest that either. Don't stress and be happy running your GTX 780 for the next couple years at that resolution. Only if you upgrade your monitor do you need to touch a thing.
