Hi everyone,

I've always used a 32 inch Philips television as my computer screen through a DVI to HDMI converter, plugged into the main HDMI slot on the television.

Now, after I moved to another place and can't use that television anymore, I have two smaller 1080p televisions. I plug them in the same way as I did before but my pc only recognises 1360x789 as my resolution. The weird thing is, when I play games, they all run perfectly on 1920x1080.

I can however change my resolution via screen options to 1920x1080 but then it all gets blurry and really ugly.

What is causing this?
I'm using a NVIDIA GTX560 with Win 7.
Already did an update of my drivers etc.
Nothing has changed but still it wont recognize it. Same on my Linux boot.

Any ideas?
Thanks

The physical resolution of your TV set in fact is 1366*768. The HD resolution gets resized to this resolution and that only works for video input, like games, but not very well for the desktop. At least the NVIDIA drive should be able to use the full 1366 resolution, instead of 1360.
