Hello Guys.Im needing a graphics card recommendation.I want really to buy good graphics card.Anyway nvidia or amd for my PC.I playing some games like FSX (Flight Simulator X) And with my graphics card (gt220 1gd3) 10-15 fps max.And im looking for graphics card which i will have more fps than 30 for this game which i have 10-15 fps with my graphics (gt220 1gd3)

PC Specs:

Intel Dual Core CPU E5700 3.00GHz
nVidia GeForce GT220 1GB 126Bit
4GB Ram
500GB HDD
AsRock G41M VGS3.R2

I need to get fps from 10-15 to 30 fps with some good graphics card for my pc :) Thanks i need help so fast :)

that link from pcpartspicker is a link to newegg who is the biggest pc parts reseller. the gtx750 is probably more horsepower than you need, and there will likely still be a cpu bottleneck. you can also look at the gt740 or gt730 as they are cheaper and less powerful. at any rate, the gtx750 will play battlefield 4 at 1080p on medium settings and stay slightly above 30fps.... far more demanding of a game than flight simulator.

that said, a quick look up for the fsx benchmarks show that it is a very cpu intensive game, much more so than on the gpu. you might want to look around on fsx forums and see if there is a better option for you since your cpu is going to bog down the game even if you have a ultra powerful gpu.

Did you just suggest a 5 year old card? The GTX 750 performs nearly on par and and uses less power...

lol no it doesnt, GTX 750 is absolute shit, so what if the GTX 480 is old, it still performs like a beast.

fsx is an 8 year old game, and it shows, as it cannot address high threads, and really doesn't care about more than 2 cores. it really just wants 2 cores running as fast as they can... paired with current generation entry level gpu like the nvidia gt630/gt730 or amd r7-240. otherwise it seems peoples goal is just to get the game running buttery smooth at 30fps. you might want to think about getting an entirely new system if you intend on running this simulator for a long time.

i could say you can build a fairly fast pentium g3258 rig with an entry level gpu for about $400, but that might not be an option for you.

Hmm looks like I found a bad Firestrike result for the 480 then, because it was around the 750. Still I wouldn't buy a 5 year old used card that is that power hungry and would be held back by the CPU most likely anyway.

well like i said... the gtx750 is going to be your best bet. the 750 doesn't require any power pins from your power supply. we dont even know what power supply you have. its also very likely that your power supply is very weak... 250-350 watts. any graphics card higher than the gtx750 will require at least on 6 pin power connector from the power supply, which your power supply might not even have. the 750 works on a 75 watt max, it will get all the power it needs from the pcie16x connector that you will plug it into, and will work fine. that all said, in fsx, you might not see any improvement since the game seems get 75% of its performance from a fast cpu, and 25% performance from the graphics card. as far as games like battlefield 4, there are plenty of benchmarks, but they are using much more powerful newer quad core cpus. you will have a cpu bottleneck, but they will likely run better than fsx because they are more optimized.

there is bf4 on the 750... 1080p@medium settings running 64.4fps. but remember there is no cpu bottleneck in that review, so you could expect anywhere from 5-20fps less than what they get since your e5700 is anywhere between 50-75% slower than the tested cpu depending on thread count.
